A Heartfelt Thanks

I want to extend a heartfelt thanks to a fellow blogger for her recognition of my ramblings on her blog.  This Good Life recently listed some of her favorite blogs for the moment, and The Weekened Homesteader was on her list.  I'm honored that I made the list!  You can read about it here:

I hope you will take a moment to visit her blog as she writes beautifully of spirituality, and while she is Jewish, she openly discusses and is tolerant of other religious philosophies.  I respect that and find there are many lessons to be learned from her blog.  Plus, I love her photography!

To blogger solidarity,

Candace

  1. Awww thank you so much! That is really very sweet of you. Am writing a blog post about 'intentional eating' right now, so feel free to check it out if you're so inclined.

As a non-homesteader, I find your postings helpful and inspirational because you make becoming more self-sufficient a more attainable goal.

    To blogger solidarity, indeed!

  2. I whole-heartedly second that thanks. My blog, too, was included in the post, and it was very humbling, since I also consider them "my ramblings." That post was how I found your blog and I look forward to following your experiences. We have 8 chickens, but no bees. :( I'm trying to convince my husband so I'm hoping to arm myself with ammunition based upon your experiences.

  4. TGL: I'm glad you find my posts inspirational and helpful. They are certainly helpful, in that I'm a poster child for what not to do sometimes! ;-)
Alice: See my comment to TGL. Our beekeeping experience has been disheartening, though educational, so far. We've had some tough knocks in this area of homesteading. Hopefully it will pay off, and like anything, it takes practice and patience (See TGL, patience!). Arm yourself with knowledge.
    Leigh: Golly gee thanks!
